I applied for a grant from The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and The Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc. I got an email saying I was approved. I won the grant with hard work and attention to detail. I would like to thank them for the grant and know it will be a step on my way to producing my project "Healthy Images".
Did headshots for an organization. Went to another exhibit and met with other people who can help me advance my photography. Researching more grants and applied for one. Working on a photo book that I hope can be published by fall.
I am working on a office space to start doing VLOG's.
This has been a very busy month. Met with the Community Arts of Elmira about holding a show for artist that have disabilities. My work has been accepted to be displayed in the AIM office in Elmira. Found multiple grants that I am qualified for. Went to an art exhibit and discussed my future endevors with multiple people. Framing many pieces to be sold and displayed. Developed multiple projects in a one year, 3 year and five year plan. In devlopment of a go fund me or kickstarter page to help create a platform for artist with disabilities.
Community Event for Veterans. Took photos for multiple organizations that wanted images for website and promotional use.
Revamped the entire website to hopefully get more traffic and more creative searchers to look at my work for sale.
Became a member of the Arts Council of the Souther Finger Lakes http://earts.org
My goal this month is to add another 200 images to my ADOBE stock account.
Did photos for a non profit organization to recieve grant money to buy buildings to help those with disabilities and for Veterans.
Community Event Photo shoot in Corning NY. A organization that helps people with Traumatic Brain Injuries threw a goodbye celebration for the supervisor.
I was accepted into the Franklin Street Gallery in Watkins Glen NY.
Became the photographer for Got Your Six Veterans Support Group.
Just recieved my Canon Pro-100 Printer. Really excited that it is here.
I will be in and out of the hospital for a while. I may miss many events.
I will be creating a business letter to get more work. Started looking around and noticing a lot of bare walls, on different business buildings in area, that needs covering of great art.
Recieved my EIN number from the IRS.My god have pitty on me.

Talked with Matt from Ricoh Printers about their printers such as the wide format. Still undecided.
Talked with Canon for a printer. Looking at a 44 inch but want to keep my options open.
Spoke with represetative from artstorefronts.com about working with them. Also looked into Red River Paper for my photo paper.
Rebuilding the website. I have had this site for a couple of years and looking to make it better. I have a meeting today to push this business forward. I have been a hobby photographer for over 30 years, since I was young. I made very little money photographing friends and coworkers as well as groups. I need to turn this into a career.
Recieved a lot of call this week from canon, Ricoh USA, Thrive Hive, and Art Store Fronts. Also the Small Business Administraion has been very helpful in guiding me. The great price of Zero from the government.
Met with another photographer and presented information on artstorefronts.com. Considering using them for an online sales outlet.
Went to the Elmira NY Holiday Inn for a presentation put on by Community Broadcasters. Very informative and learned more about marketing the business. Speaking with different agencies to assist in building, and expanding the business.
Met with 2 great photographers. Spoke about my meeting with the SBA (Small Business Administration), VA ( Veterans Administration), and other agencies. The agencies are willing to help me in various ways to start my business. Learning alot and creating a well rounded organization for photographers.
